While out hiking I was overwhelmed with the big sweeping vistas but drawn to photograph the leaves.

I had wanted to get back to some of the Fall foliage that I had seen a few weeks ago. I tried to time my hike according to the sun going down but I was a bit late. I still enjoyed the afternoon, the hike, the company of my small four legged friends and taking photographs along the way.
