Changing of the Seasons

Just recently in the early afternoon I set out (with excited dogs in tow) on what would have been a 10 mile hike and a couple of hours (plus or minus). It turned in to a 10 mile hike ~ photo opportunity that lasted more than 6 hours. I didn’t get home until after dark and the tres amigos ( Yoda, Hampton and Groover) became slightly agitated ( would the barking, dog chatter, talking, and what could be considered crying be an indication? ) that I was stopping to shoot every 50 yards to a point of ridiculousness. I’d say they were over it and wanted to go HOME!

Me? Well, the hike, the vibrant, almost electric colors of the Aspen leaves, the evening sky and the feel of the changing of the season, and the company of my boys! What more could a girl ask for? I was caught up in it, I admit.

A little tired and dirty but no worse from the wear my darling trio still love me.
